Mission Statement for Oneness Oneness proclaims unity, evinces integrity, and promotes equality, individualism, and trust. We are a body of passionate servants of the under-priviliged, a circle of friends to the ill-housed, the ill-clad, and the ill-nourished, and a society of strength and determination to enlighten a people to the agents of injustice that affect their lives. Our workers strive to achieve ever higher standards of preparation to meet the demands that government and private charity can no longer bestow upon a suffering humanity. We are a corps to aid the ill-married mother, an army to succor the aged, and a force to win the rights of those who have served us. We are Oneness, a Nation of Faith, that will bring a new balance of power to our country’s democratic processes, and a new awareness of responsibility to our republican institutions. Guided by Godly principles of empathy and concord in a community of many perspectives, we believe, above all, and carry it forth daily, that the rights of man come not from the bounty of the state but from the outstretched hand of God.
